As a Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton, Regina has advised the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, and major hospital systems on designing and implementing integrated care delivery models, improving patient access, and strengthening organizational performance through AI and decision-support tools and methods.

In addition to her professional career, Regina has held significant board and executive leadership roles. She currently serves on the Board of the Columbia (MD) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and previously served as Past President of the Columbia MD Chapter of Jack and Jill of America. She is a member of the Presidents Council of Cornell Women, a Past President of the Cornell Black Alumni Association, and a past board member of Girls Inc. Regina is recognized for bringing governance expertise, strategic planning insight, and a commitment to advancing women and communities of color to every organization she serves.

With more than 30 years in broadcast journalism, her credibility, compassion, and calm presence have guided viewers through some of the most defining moments in the D.C. region's history.

Named a 2023 Washingtonian of the Year by Washingtonian Magazine, Shawn's work off-camera is just as impactful. Through her non-profit, the Giving Foundation for Women and Children (GFWC), she leads programs that provide hundreds of local children with winter coats and holiday toys, and college scholarships for young mothers pursuing higher education degrees.

Shawn is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She and her husband, Marcus, have three amazing sons, two beloved daughters-in-love, and two very energetic dogs.
