John Graham’s journey is as personal as it is professional. A lifelong recovering child of divorce, John grew up with both parents present yet carries the deep wounds of watching a family split apart. This early experience planted in him a relentless commitment to healing and restoration, particularly for the Black diaspora. As the Founder and CEO of Upfront Marital Technologies Inc., John is closing that gap. Upfront isn’t just another dating app—it’s a space for single Black professionals to heal, grow, and build the strong relationships that restore the strength of our communities.
Francis J. Clement is a self-employed fiduciary advisor who runs his New York based practice assisting clients in 29 states. He and his team at Clement Wealth Management work with professionals through a comprehensive fee-based planning process to usher them to financial independence. Francis graduated from the University of Rochester in 1997 with a BA in Economics. Francis met his wife in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The two have been married for 14 years. He and his wife live in the Fairport, NY area with their three children.

(Husband Panelist] Christopher “Chris” Chatmon is a nationally acclaimed educator, husband of 29 years, father of three sons, and grandfather—living proof that Black love is revolutionary. As the Founder and CEO of Kingmakers of Oakland, Chris leads a movement to improve the life outcomes of Black boys through systems transformation and cultural empowerment. He previously launched and led the groundbreaking African American Male Achievement initiative at Oakland Unified School District—the first district-level effort of its kind in the nation—and served as its first Deputy Chief of Equity.

on our panel, Jordan Edwards grew up in Brooklyn and now lives in Harlem, working as a sourcing specialist for a property management company. Alongside a career in real estate,
Jordan has pursued photography for nine years, capturing moments and scenes that tell a story. In 2023, Jordan got married and started a family. With a 9-month-old daughter, life is now centered around balancing work, creativity, and family, embracing both challenges and joys.

Algernon Cargill is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Children's Hospital of Atlanta and the WellStar Health System. He is a husband of 9 years, father of two girls, uncle, and godfather. He is a proud native of Nassau, The Bahamas, and has lived and studied in Canada, St. Lucia, Spain, Cuba, and all over the United States. Fluent in English and Spanish, he is truly a global citizen. He is a graduate of Cornell University, the University of Chicago, and a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He's excited to help more black families thrive.
