Verneda is a social entrepreneur at heart. Her national platform, community-building events, and speaking engagements have focused on using fashion to raise awareness for pertinent social & human rights issues, racial justice and climate change.


Verneda is the recipient of the Daily Points of Light Award from the late President George H.W. Bush for her innovation in service.


In addition to her work as a social entrepreneur, Verneda continues to be on the pulse of the fashion marketing, events, and brand management industries as an independent Event Executive Producer. Verneda holds an MBA (with Distinction) from EBS London and is an alumnus of Cornell University (B.S. Textile and Apparel Management – Awards).
